Not all pets are created equally! With so many designer companies offering dog apparel, accessories and dog collars, not all sizes are exactly comparable. Therefore we suggest that you read completely all sizing information and measure your spoiled pet accurately to avoid any costly return shipping fees.   For an accurate gauge of size please use a fabric measuring tape and mark the distance for the dogs neck, body (chest), length and back.   #1) Neck: Measure comfortably the entire distance around the neck. #2) Body/Chest: Measure comfortably the entire distance around the body just behind the front legs. #3) Back: Measure precisely the entire distance from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. #3) Length: Measure from the top back to the floor.   We take the extra time to individually measure all of our products so that the chance of mistakes is reduced.  Collars are measured from the end of the buckle to the first notch and the last notch of the collar which represents the size neck that it will fit.  Harness measurements provided correspond directly with the measurement of the barrel of your Pampered Pup's chest.  All clothing sizes represent the length of the garment which will correspond with your Pampered Pup's base of the neck to the base of the tail measurement.    For full grown dogs we recommend subtracting one to two inches from the neck to tail measurement to find an appropriately fitting garment.     For growing puppies a garment representing the exact neck to tail measurement will provide a little extra room.  Because dog's are so disproportionate to one another not all items will fit perfectly.  However, we will make every effort possible to ensure your dog receives an item that you feel fits best.   To determine the proper size for your dog we also ask that you feel free to email us with any sizing questions you may have.  But, please keep in mind that we are only offering guidance and thus sizing is not guaranteed.  Ultimately, the responsibility of sizing rests with the consumer.  Should you have questions, we will promptly respond to your inquiry so that no time is wasted in pampering your pup.
